Dutch translation of 3 kinky sadomasochistic femdom comic strips. Illustrated by 'fetish king' Eric Stanton (Ernest Stanzone, 1926-1999) with drawings in black and white and shades of gray (including a girls fight). Cf. Matla TURBO [series] 1.24. EROTW 1.7.

Contains 'Een pijnlijke erfenis'; 'Het Helse Eiland'; 'De Citadel van Pijn' and 'Gekwelde mannen'. All clandestinely released in the USA in the 1950s by Irving Klaw. The book concludes with a concise biography providing background information by the publisher (i.a. about Stanton's influence on artists and pop artists such as Tom Wesselman, Allen Jones, Madonna and Prince).

¶ According to NCC, the seventh volume of 'De erotische wereld van Stanton' is currently not present in the public collections. The collected works in Dutch of the American underground cartoonist and pioneer in the field of fetish art have been published in 7 volumes by TURBO.
