¶ In addition to Pasatiempo, Niekus made two other photo books; 'Passanten' (1996) and 'Damrak' (2005). From 2009 onwards he self-published a number of magazines in which he collected his street photos. The NRC called him the 'Meester van het menselijk gehannes' ['Master of human fiddling']. After his sudden passing away, a foundation was established to manage his legacy.
