Homoerotic comic strip in the KAKE series by Finnish artist Tom of Finland (= Touko Laaksonen, 1920-1991). Illustrated in black and white. Reprint (the first edition appeared in 1982). Retail price was $11.00. "For Mature Adults Only!"

This issue is set in the Wild West of the USA with Kake among the Cowboys. In the back 'From Tom's Archive'. Cf. Hanson p. 549; Bertolotti p. 175; Van Os p. 176. Original vintage editions, also early reprints, of this series are rare.

¶ Between 1968 and 1986, Tom published 26 episodes of Kake's adventures, comics starring hypermasculine men and wonderful leather gays. By the late 1960s, Tom's "dirty drawings" had become the standard for gay art, and Tom's men a model for the new gay masculinity.
