Pamphlet by Frederik Petrus Gisius Nanning (1798-1832) with a long heartbreaking poem about rescuers at sea and fathers who watch their sons disappear in the waves. "Issued for the benefit of the unfortunate families of the six nobles, who, in saving their nature companions, have met a glorious death on our shores at Huisduinen."
¶ Knuttel 25348. On October 14, 1824, the ship De Vreede ran aground on the Huisduinen coast; in addition to the six heroes mentioned, three people on board were also killed. The event can be found on Wikipedia's list of Dutch disasters.
