Gebonden editie (Revised edition, with preface by A.E. White), in feite een reprint van de uitgave bij Arcanum Books (1958).

¶ Papus was het pseudoniem van de Franse arts Gérard Encausse (1865-1916). Aan het einde van de 19e eeuw en het begin van de 20e eeuw was hij een van de hoofdfiguren in het internationale occultisme. Veel van zijn boeken worden tot vandaag beschouwd als basis voor occulte kennis.
